City of Stockton issued the following announcement on Dec 4.
The world around us has changed and so must our celebrations. This year, please enjoy the traditional holiday tree and the beautiful lights and rhythmic patterns of the Weber Point Fountain – from a distance – as you drive by or walk near the Weber Point Events Center. The fountain will be on each evening from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. To lift community holiday spirits, the City of Stockton has added lighted trees in Martin Luther King, Jr., Plaza, and festive wreaths and lights on City Hall, the Civic Auditorium, and Chavez Library.
Holiday greetings from the Stockton City Council, memories of past celebrations, and a special reading of a holiday book for children and families are featured on the City of Stockton website:

“As we look back on 2020, I know that I can speak for the entire City Council when I say we are all honored and privileged to serve the community of Stockton,” shared Vice Mayor Dan Wright. “Thank you for your sacrifices and support over the past year. We look forward to 2021 and the work needed to help our city and the community in the coming year.”
