On February 15, 2024, aspiring Correctional Officers are gearing up to take on the physical agility test, a crucial step towards launching a career in law enforcement. Candidates must demonstrate their physical prowess to be considered for the position.

The test comprises a series of challenging events designed to assess the candidates' physical fitness and readiness for the demanding role. As stated in the announcement, participants will need to excel in tasks such as the 165 lb Body Drag, the 100 Yard Dash, the Obstacle Course, and the 500 Yard Run.

"Ready to begin a career in Law enforcement as a Correctional Officer?" Potential candidates are being asked, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for the rigorous selection process.

"Interestd candidates must pass this agility test to be considered for the position," highlighting the significance of meeting the physical requirements set forth by the law enforcement agency.

"Listed below are the events:  165 lb Body Drag: Drag a 165 pound bag or dummy for a distance of 30 feet within 15 seconds.  100 Yard Dash: On a straight track, complete a 100-yard sprint within 20 seconds.  Obstacle Course: Maneuver through a 99-yard obstacle course in 25 seconds.  500 Yard Run: On a flat surface, run 500 yards in 130 seconds," details the specific challenges that await the aspiring Correctional Officers during the test.
