City of Tracy recently issued the following announcement.
After the year we've had…WE GET IT - we want to celebrate the end of 2020! But here are a few things to keep in mind this #NYE:
If you’ve been drinking, don’t drive. #BuzzedDriving is drunk driving.
ALL fireworks (including Safe and Sane) are illegal in Tracy during this time of year. Rather than calling 9-1-1 for report illegal fireworks, please call Tracy PD’s non-emergency dispatch line: (209) 831-6550.
“Celebratory” gunfire is illegal AND dangerous – it has wounded hundreds and killed dozens in the US in recent years.
Don’t forget to ensure your pets are safe by making sure they are wearing a collar or microchipped, keeping them inside, using ambient sounds and making them a den to stay cozy in.
