Mario Williams Jr., known for his time at Venture Academy, took the court on Thursday, Feb. 26 as the UCCS Mountain Lions came up short, 101-94, against Adams State Grizzlies.
The 6′5″ sophomore guard posted 12 points, five rebounds and one steal over 25 minutes of play.
Next for Williams Jr.: UCCS is set to host the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.
