On Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m., Johnna Schroeder, a former Lodi High School standout, helped her current team, the Wichita State Shockers, secure a 9-1 win over the UAB Blazers in NCAA Division I softball action.
The teams met at Wilkins Stadium for their second contest of the season. The Shockers had also defeated the Blazers 6-5 in their prior matchup on Friday, March 13.
Schroeder contributed one hit in three plate appearances.
Wichita State is set to face UAB Blazers again at Wilkins Stadium on Sunday, March 15, with the first pitch scheduled for noon.
