At 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13, Wichita State Shockers, featuring former Lodi High School standout Johnna Schroeder, claimed a 6-5 victory over the UAB Blazers in an NCAA Division I softball contest.
Wilkins Stadium hosted the matchup, marking the teams’ first meeting this season.
Schroeder accomplished two hits in two at-bats and contributed two runs.
The Shockers are slated to face the UAB Blazers again at Wilkins Stadium on Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m.
