Former Lodi High School standout Johnna Schroeder and her current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, earned a 9-3 victory over the Charlotte 49ers in their NCAA Division I softball matchup on Saturday, April 18, at 12 p.m.

The contest occurred at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium. It marked the teams’ second meeting this season; on Friday, April 17, the Shockers defeated the 49ers 10-3.

Schroeder had one hit in four at-bats, scored once, drove in two runs, struck out once and stranded three runners.

The Shockers are set to face the 49ers again at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium on Sunday, April 19.
