On Sunday, March 8, at 10 a.m., former Lodi High School star Johnna Schroeder and the Wichita State Shockers were shut out 6-0 by the East Carolina Pirates in an NCAA Division I softball matchup.

The contest, held at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium, marked the third meeting of the season between the two teams. Wichita State previously fell to the Pirates 8-0 on Saturday, March 7.

Schroeder contributed a hit in two plate appearances and drew a walk.

The Shockers will play next on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against the UAB Blazers.
