Shortly before 6:00 p.m., the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a shooting near the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue in Stockton. Authorities confirmed that about 14 people were shot, and four victims have died.

The investigation is ongoing, and details are still emerging. According to early findings, officials believe the shooting may have been targeted, but detectives are considering all possibilities as they work to understand what led up to the incident.

“Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone impacted by this senseless violence,” said representatives from the sheriff’s office.
