On Saturday, March 8, former Ripon High School standout Sydney Thomason’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.
The game took place at Farris Fields Complex. This was their second matchup against the Redbirds this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Connie Claussen Field against North Dakota Fighting Hawks.
