Rep. Josh Harder, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 9th district, has recently shared a series of updates via social media regarding his engagements and legislative efforts.
On May 7, 2025, Harder visited the University of the Pacific’s Research & Creativity Showcase. He commented on the event saying “Stopped by UOP’s Research & Creativity Showcase. Really amazing stuff – AI, cancer research, sea stars, you name it. These students aren’t just smart, they’re already making an impact.”
The following day, on May 8, 2025, Harder announced his enthusiasm for a new legislative initiative aimed at addressing infrastructure issues in California’s Delta region. He stated “Excited to share more information about our new bill to fix our Delta’s broken levees.” This effort highlights ongoing concerns about environmental and structural challenges in the area.
Later that day, he addressed broader concerns about governmental inefficiency in a tweet expressing frustration over prolonged bureaucratic processes. Harder wrote (2/5) Americans have lost faith in government because they don’t see results. They just see the same old gridlock and delay. Why in the world does it take 500 years to bury power lines?”
Josh Harder has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Jeff Denham and continues to advocate for infrastructure improvements and effective governance as part of his legislative agenda.
