Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted several community developments and concerns through a series of posts on his social media account.

On August 14, 2025, Harder congratulated the University of the Pacific (UOP) for its new facility supporting veterans, stating: “Congrats to UOP on the opening of Manor Hall’s new home for veterans. A big win for our community!”

The following day, he posted about a local rescue effort involving a police dog: “K9 Hanks to the rescue!” (August 15, 2025).

Later that evening, Harder addressed concerns from healthcare providers regarding state health program funding: “Heard from local health care providers about how the cuts to Medi-Cal will be devastating for our families. Working on strategies to fight back.” (August 15, 2025).

Josh Harder has represented California’s 9th District in Congress since replacing Jeff Denham in 2019. He was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. Harder’s educational background includes degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
