Rep. Josh Harder, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 9th district since 2019, recently used his social media platform to highlight local law enforcement efforts, healthcare expansion in North Stockton, and concerns over federal action on senior issues.
On August 7, 2025, Harder posted appreciation for police officers: “Our local law enforcement risk their lives every single day to keep our community safe. Grateful for everything they do.”
Later that same day, he shared news of a visit to Golden Valley Health Centers: “Stopped by Golden Valley Health Centers in North Stockton to help showcase their upcoming expansion. Valley families deserve high-quality care right here, not hours away.”
On August 8, Harder addressed the federal government’s approach to senior policy: “Every 10 years, Washington is supposed to bring together a top team to solve the biggest challenges facing seniors. But this year, they’re trying to run out the clock. Not on my watch.”
Harder has represented California’s 9th District since defeating Jeff Denham in 2019 and is known for focusing on local issues such as public safety and healthcare access. Born in Turlock in 1986 and now residing in Tracy, Harder holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
