Rep. Josh Harder, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 9th district since 2019, recently posted updates on legislative actions and disaster relief via his social media accounts.

On November 18, 2025, Harder announced his intention to support transparency efforts in Congress by stating, “Headed to the Capitol to vote YES on releasing the Epstein files.” Later that same day, he highlighted federal assistance for local residents impacted by recent natural disasters: “$10.8 MILLION in flood relief is coming to the Valley. If you are affected by the 2022 floods, grants are now available up to $500k. Grants like these keep our communities protected from future flooding risks and safer for our families.”

On November 19, Harder addressed ongoing developments regarding the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein: “Yesterday the House and Senate finally voted to release the Epstein files. But now the bill is just sitting on the President’s desk. Don’t let up the pressure. The President needs to sign the bill TODAY.”

Josh Harder was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy at age 36. He holds degrees from Stanford University (BA, 2008) and Harvard University (2014). Harder succeeded Jeff Denham as representative of California’s 9th district in Congress.
