Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform this week to highlight community engagement opportunities and share concerns about local and national issues.

On July 24, Harder encouraged constituents to recognize outstanding educators by posting: “Last call! Know a teacher who’s gone above and beyond for our kids? Nominate them for the 2025 Educator Impact Awards before July 25 https://t.co/cXEr1upaaI https://t.co/pepBpIL9oh”.

Later that same day, he addressed environmental concerns in the region with a brief statement: “We deserve a clean Delta! https://t.co/I6CXNPMc4z”.

On July 25, Harder commented on economic challenges facing families: “Inflation and tariffs are crushing our families… https://t.co/9mZnMuF9wF”.

Harder has served as the congressional representative for California’s 9th District since 2019, succeeding Jeff Denham. He was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. Harder holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
