Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on August 26, 2025, to address issues ranging from local agriculture to family expenses and community engagement.

In a post published at 01:55 UTC, Harder emphasized support for regional agriculture: “We have to protect our local growers. I’m fighting to keep our grocery stores full of produce grown right here in the Valley.”

Later that day, at 22:32 UTC, he highlighted the financial challenges faced by families: “Being a parent is the best thing to happen to me and Pam. However it’s INSANELY expensive. What are your biggest bills killing your budget?”

Harder also thanked constituents for their participation in a public event in Lodi, posting at 23:58 UTC: “Thank you to the hundreds of families who came out to our townhall in Lodi!  My job is show up and actually listen to what our families need.”

Josh Harder has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Jeff Denham. He was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. Harder holds degrees from Stanford University (BA, 2008) and Harvard University (2014).
