Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight efforts aimed at reducing bureaucratic barriers in healthcare, promote local agricultural initiatives, and support food security within his community.
On September 4, 2025, Harder posted about a meeting with medical leaders and members of the Build America Caucus. In his tweet, he stated: “Red tape shouldn’t stand in the way of saving lives. Sat down with medical leaders and the Build America Caucus to talk about speeding up innovation and getting cures to patients faster.”
Later that same day, Harder encouraged constituents to take advantage of a local initiative by posting: “Pick up your free seeds!” on September 4, 2025.
On September 5, 2025, Harder thanked a local news outlet for its coverage of efforts to support area food banks. He wrote: “Thanks to KRCA for spreading the word on our fight to save our local food banks. No one in our community should be going hungry.”
Harder has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Jeff Denham and currently resides in Tracy, California. Born in Turlock in 1986, he is an alumnus of Stanford University and Harvard University.
