Rep. Josh Harder, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 9th district since 2019, has taken to social media to voice concerns about corruption in Washington and to advocate for legislative reforms.
On September 15, 2025, Harder posted: “DC is rotten to the core with corruption. Time to clean house.”
A day later, on September 16, he emphasized the need for infrastructure reform, stating: “We absolutely need smart permitting & transmission reform. This is exactly what the bipartisan Build America Caucus is working to pass asap.”
Later that same day, Harder reiterated his focus on combating corruption by referencing new legislation: “Corruption is everywhere. Our new landmark bill the ‘No Bribes for Politicians Act’ will put an end to it.”
Josh Harder began serving in Congress after defeating Jeff Denham in 2018 and taking office in January 2019. He was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. Harder holds degrees from Stanford University (BA, 2008) and Harvard University (graduate degree, 2014).
