Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted several updates on his social media account addressing both local concerns and community achievements.
On October 15, 2025, Harder expressed concern about a recent event affecting his constituents: “A gut punch to our community.” The following day, he celebrated an educational milestone in the district by posting: “Congrats to Jennifer Brown from Franklin High School for winning the Teacher of the Year award at our Educator Impact Awards. We are so lucky to have teachers like you in our community!” This recognition highlights ongoing efforts to honor educators within the region.
Later on October 16, Harder commented on rising consumer prices ahead of Halloween festivities: “Have you noticed how much more candy costs this year? We are stocking up for Halloween and I was SHOCKED”
Josh Harder has represented California’s 9th District since 2019 after succeeding Jeff Denham. Born in Turlock, California in 1986, Harder is currently 36 years old and resides in Tracy. He holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University.
