Two days later, on September 1, 2025, he marked Labor Day with a message of solidarity: “Happy Labor Day! Proud to stand with our brothers and sisters in labor today and every day.”

Harder has served as the congressional representative for California’s 9th District since 2019, succeeding Jeff Denham. Born in Turlock, California in 1986, Harder is now 36 years old and resides in Tracy. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 2008 and later completed further studies at Harvard University in 2014.
