Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his official social media account reflecting on national events and local community activities.
On September 10, 2025, Harder addressed recent violence involving Charlie Kirk, stating: “Absolutely horrible. There is no place for political violence in our democracy. Pam and I are praying for Charlie Kirk and everyone affected by today’s tragedy.”
The following day, marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, he wrote: “In memory of the sacrifices made and the lives lost 24 years ago on 9/11. Today and always, never forget.” Later that evening, Harder encouraged participation in a local event with: “Hoping everyone has a great time at the Lodi Grape Festival this weekend!”
Josh Harder has served as a member of Congress representing California’s 9th District since 2019 after replacing Jeff Denham. Born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently residing in Tracy, Harder holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University.
