Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several issues affecting his constituents through a series of posts on social media.
On September 24, 2025, Harder commented on concerns regarding mail theft in Stockton, stating, “My office is aware of the mail theft issues in Stockton. We’re working with USPS to push for a solution. Very frustrating!”
The following day, he highlighted environmental concerns in the region’s waterways by introducing new legislation: “Abandoned vessels are poisoning our Delta. Glad to have introduced the Abandoned Vessel Prevention Act to finally clean it up once and for all.” In another post later that day, Harder commented on rising education costs: “This isn’t shocking at all. When colleges cost so much, what are families supposed to do?”
Josh Harder has served as the congressional representative for California’s 9th District since 2019 after succeeding Jeff Denham. Born in Turlock in 1986 and currently residing in Tracy, Harder holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
