Rep. Josh Harder, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 9th district since 2019, has recently shared updates on health care policy, community engagement, and veterans’ services through his social media posts.
On August 23, 2025, Harder posted about an impending change in health care: “ANOTHER health care cut is coming. Here’s what you need to know: https://t.co/X2yi0THozP”. Later that same day, he highlighted a visit to a local business with the message: “Lunch at Shorter’s BBQ in Tracy today! https://t.co/twf2DrpdSD”.
On August 25, 2025, Harder addressed his ongoing work with veterans in the region by stating: “Sat down with local veterans this week in Stockton to hear how we can improve VA services. Lots of work to be done to get our heroes the benefits they’ve earned. https://t.co/P3HEJBFXxi”.
Harder was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University. He succeeded Jeff Denham as representative for California’s 9th District and has focused on issues such as health care and veterans’ affairs during his tenure.
