Rep. Josh Harder, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 9th district since 2019, posted a series of messages on social media addressing local education, veterans’ affairs, and rising gas prices.

On August 28, 2025, Harder shared his experience visiting a local school: “Got to chat with some of our best and brightest at Edison High in Stockton. Loved hearing the awesome ideas from our next generation of leaders.”

Later that day, he commented on issues facing veterans in his district by stating: “Our veterans deserve better.” This post highlights ongoing concerns about the quality of services provided to former service members.

On August 29, 2025, Harder addressed economic pressures affecting residents: “Gas prices are out of control!”

Josh Harder was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. He succeeded Jeff Denham as representative for California’s 9th district after being elected to Congress in 2019. Harder’s educational background includes a BA from Stanford University (2008) and further studies at Harvard University (2014).
