Metro State’s Drew Peters helps team to 9-8 win over UMary in Division II baseball

The Metro State Roadrunners, featuring former St. Mary’s High School standout Drew Peters, secured a 9-8 victory over the UMary Marauders in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.

Held at Assembly Athletic Complex, this marked the third meeting between the teams this season. The previous game, also on Saturday, March 14, resulted in an 11-10 win for the Roadrunners.

Peters gave up one earned run across two innings of relief.

The Roadrunners are set to face the UMary Marauders again at Assembly Athletic Complex on Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m.
