Mario Williams Jr., a former basketball standout at Venture Academy, saw action for the UCCS Mountain Lions on Saturday, Feb. 28, when the team fell 86-84 against the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys.
The sophomore shooting guard, who stands 6′5″, posted 20 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked one shot in 28 minutes on the court.
