Junaé Mahan, a graduate of Lincoln High School and now a junior guard with the UC San Diego Tritons, is heading to the NCAA Tournament.
UC San Diego enters the competition as the No. 14 seed and will face the No. 3 seed TCU Horned Frogs to open play.
The team’s first game is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
