Rep. Josh Harder, who has represented California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared a series of updates and inquiries on his social media account.
On July 28, 2025, Harder posted a message congratulating local graduates: “Congrats to all the TRACC graduates! Thanks for letting me join in celebrating your hard work!”
The following day, Harder sought input from constituents regarding rising living costs. In his July 29 post, he wrote: “Working on a project and I need some quick input:
Prices are insane right now, what has gone up the most for your family?
– PG&E
– Housing
– Internet
– Groceries
– Other
Need to prove to Sacramento/DC that we need to get prices down ASAP.”
Later that same day, Harder commented on infrastructure funding with a brief statement: “1 bridge. And 1 billion dollars.”
Harder, age 36, was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 2008 and later graduated from Harvard University in 2014. Since succeeding Jeff Denham in Congress six years ago, Harder has focused on issues relevant to his Central Valley constituency.
