Rep. Josh Harder, currently serving California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on social media about pressing issues affecting his constituents. His recent posts address concerns ranging from economic affordability to infrastructure development.

On July 6, 2025, Harder expressed concern over a new development in Washington, stating that “Washington just made the affordability crisis so much worse…” This statement highlights his ongoing focus on economic challenges facing Americans.

The following day, July 7, 2025, he drew attention to housing costs in Stockton with a tweet saying “Rents are growing faster in Stockton than almost anywhere else in the state. We have to make living in the Valley affordable again.” This post underscores his commitment to addressing local economic issues and improving affordability for residents of the Valley.

On July 8, 2025, Harder addressed infrastructure hurdles by stating “It shouldn’t take decades of paperwork to move forward with new power line projects. We have to get permitting reform moving and make it easier to build new energy and infrastructure.” This comment reflects his advocacy for streamlining processes that impact energy and infrastructure development.
