Josh Harder, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 9th district, shared several tweets recently reflecting his ongoing commitment to community and diversity issues.
On June 7, Harder acknowledged National Trails Day by emphasizing the importance of accessible outdoor spaces for families in the Valley. He stated that “Valley families deserve clean, safe places to get outside and enjoy our amazing natural landscapes. The Valley’s open spaces are worth protecting.”
On June 9, he expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community with a brief message: “Happy Pride everyone!” This tweet coincided with the Pride Month celebrations observed nationwide.
The following day, on June 10, Harder highlighted efforts to support local agriculture amidst challenging conditions. He tweeted about aiding Valley cherry farmers during a difficult crop year: “Proud to bring home help for our Valley cherry farmers, it’s a very tough crop year.”
Josh Harder has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Jeff Denham. Born in Turlock, California in 1986 and now residing in Tracy, Harder’s educational background includes degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
