Rep. Josh Harder, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 9th district, has been active on social media, sharing updates and expressing opinions on various matters. Born in Turlock, California in 1986, Harder graduated from Stanford University and Harvard University before beginning his political career.
On June 4, 2025, Harder expressed support for fellow Build America Caucus member @RepmaloyUtah, emphasizing the need to focus on infrastructure development by stating, “Great write-up for Build America Caucus member @RepmaloyUtah. We’ve got to get back to building again!”
The following day, June 5, 2025, he criticized a decision by the National Weather Service (NWS) regarding local weather stations during wildfire season. He shared his relief that the stations would remain operational: “It makes NO SENSE that NWS was going to close our Valley weather stations during wildfire season. Our families need these alerts! We fought back, and happy to share that the stations will now stay open.”
Later on June 5, 2025, Harder congratulated graduates from Mountain House Class of 2025 with words of encouragement: “Summer is officially here for the Mountain House Class of 2025. To all the graduates – congrats, and know that there are so many people cheering you on for whatever comes next on your journey.”
Josh Harder’s career began when he replaced former U.S Congress member Jeff Denham in 2019. At age 36, he continues to reside in Tracy while serving his constituents.
