Rep. Josh Harder, who represents California’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on his official X account between November 17 and November 18, 2025. The posts addressed topics ranging from infrastructure permitting reform to recognition of local educators and recent trade policy developments.

On November 17, Harder highlighted the importance of regulatory improvements for infrastructure projects, stating: “Permitting reform is one of our best opportunities to get critical projects moving faster. Certainty in permitting is a key step forward in any deal.”

Later that day, he recognized local educators during American Education Week with a congratulatory message: “Another HUGE congrats to our 2025 Educator Impact Award winners! These are the people who make our schools great! #AmericanEducationWeek” (posted November 17).

On November 18, Harder commented on international trade issues affecting consumer goods, writing: “Pasta has become Trump’s latest tariff victim…”

Harder has served as the congressional representative for California’s 9th District since replacing Jeff Denham in 2019. He was born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently resides in Tracy. Harder’s educational background includes degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University.
