Representative Josh Harder, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 9th District since 2019, recently addressed several key issues on social media. Harder, born in Turlock, California in 1986 and currently residing in Tracy, used his platform to comment on food assistance cuts, digital asset regulation, and public safety during extreme heat.

On July 10, 2025, Harder posted about recent changes to food assistance programs: “We have to fight these tragic food assistance cuts”.

Later that day, he commented on the growing popularity of digital assets among Americans. In his post dated July 10, 2025, he stated: “Americans are investing in digital assets in record numbers. It’s time we establish a clear, commonsense regulatory framework that protects current investors and builds long-term trust in the system.”

On the same day, Harder also warned constituents about hazardous weather conditions: “Dangerously hot the next couple of days, be careful and stay hydrated!”

Harder succeeded Jeff Denham as representative for California’s 9th District. He holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University (2014).
