On Friday, May 16, former St. Mary’s High School standout Gary Scannavino’s current collegiate team the Westmont Warriors won 8-1 against the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Russell Carr Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters in the tournament.

The Westmont Warriors’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Russell Carr Field.
