On Friday, March 13, Mary Cotton, a former Lathrop High School standout, competed with her collegiate team, the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament. The Golden Eagles dropped their game against the Vanguard Lions, 79-75.
Nicholson Arena hosted the 7:30 p.m. contest, the Golden Eagles’ first tournament encounter with the Vanguard Lions.
