There were two gas stations in cities across San Joaquin County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.25 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $3.79 per gallon.

Of the 236 reported gas stations in cities within San Joaquin County, 148 offered regular gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in California was $4.12, down from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
