City of Stockton issued the following announcement on Jan 6.
What we all can do:
• Stay home and do not gather. It is best to stay home unless going out for essential business.
• Continue to get tested regularly if you have been around others. Visit http://sjready.org/events/covid19/testing.html to find a testing site near you.
• Wash your hands, socially distance and wear a mask to slow the spread of COVID-19.
The regional stay home order remains in effect in the San Joaquin Valley Region. It is a protective measure to preserve CA’s health care system for patients and those with other medical emergencies. Current ICU availability is 0% in the SJV as of information released on 1/5/2020.
Based on the tier assignment released today, 1/5/2021, San Joaquin County remains in the purple tier.
• This data is for the timeframe of 12/20/20-12/26/20.
Case Rate: 63.5 per 100,000
Adjusted Case Rate: 64.7 per 100,000
County Positivity Rate: 17%
Health Equity Positivity Rate: 19.2%
• Testing for the timeframe was below the state median leading our case rate to be adjusted. Testing in San Joaquin County is 426.6 per 100,000 which is below the state median of 447.67 per 100,000. To avoid the case rate adjustment upward, we need to continue testing at high rate.
What we all can do:
